The reading of excerpts from the novel "Colombe" will support dance and writing workshops, debates and games that will give meaning to the themes addressed in the book: friendship, adolescence, difference, harassment, the arts, self-confidence...

A workshop to: read, dance, write, exchange, draw, feel, understand... together.

"My name is Colombe, I'm 12 and I'm fat. I know it's a bit of a crude way of putting it, but I regularly experience this violence in words and in the eyes of others. At school, in hospital, on the street and sometimes even at home... Fortunately, there are the two A's: Friendship, with Paul and Iris, and Art. I love poetry, drawing, music... and especially dancing. Yes, I'm fat, but I want to be a dancer!
Dreams are always allowed, aren't they?

About Joris Perez:
After training at La Rochelle and then at the CNSM in Lyon, Joris became a professional dancer the following year at the Ballet du Rhin. The Ballet de l'Opéra de Nice and the CCN Ballet de Lorraine in Nancy were the other two companies he worked with. During his 16-year career, he has appeared on stage some 1,200 times, performing works by over 50 different choreographers. In 2014, he became a cultural mediator, carrying out a multitude of awareness-raising activities on a daily basis for a wide range of audiences: schools, hospitals, associations, etc.
