"Over the radio waves, we've just picked up an alert message from Meiga, who has managed to escape from Malfar's clutches. He's a scientist who captures and mutilates fairies in order to study them. He wants to realize and market the greatest human dream: to fly. She manages to escape by driving a nail through his eye... she breaks the fairies' oath forbidding them to make themselves visible to humans, to call for help.
