Hugues Leclère studied with Catherine Collard before entering the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he was awarded three First Prizes in piano, musical analysis and chamber music. He then embarked on a solo career that has taken him to 43 countries, performing with prestigious orchestras (Berliner Philharmoniker Camerata, Czech National Radio Orchestra, National Orchestra of Thailand, etc.) and partners such as Augustin Dumay, the Orchestre de Paris Soloists, the Talich Quartet and the Berliner Philharmoniker StreichQuintett. As a composer and member of the SACD, he creates shows that combine different artistic expressions, such as L'Engrenage, certified by the Mission de la Grande Guerre, La Mort de l'Aigle, which recounts Napoleon's exile in St. Helena, with actor Francis Huster, and Bachmania, Beethovenmania and Debussymania for two pianos with Jean-François Zygel. Coordinating professor of piano at the CRR de Paris, he is also artistic director of the Nancyphonies festival.
