As part of Livre sur la Place, Nancy's Jewish community and ACJ 55 invite you to meet Abnousse Shalmani, who will present his book "Laïcité, j'écris ton nom".

"Today, we are reduced to defending freedom and secularism, to defending ourselves from being racist, colonialist or "Islamophobic". We universalists and humanists are guilty of considering all men to be equal, in the face of the new racists who defend birth as identity, skin color as personality, who excuse anti-Semitism when it emanates from the religion of the oppressed, and homophobia and misogyny when they are expressed by non-Western cultures.
