Saint Nicolas on the water

We often imagine him on his donkey, beard blowing in the wind and cross in hand... but the truth is, Saint Nicholas has sea legs! As well as being the star of schoolchildren, he's also the patron saint of boatmen, watching over those who sail, from barges to pedal boats.

So it's off the float, and this time the entertainment takes place on the water, aboard a luminous boat surrounded by a procession of boats! And this year, the festivities will take place between the square in front of the School of Architecture and the Basin Sainte-Catherine, with a chic, illuminated decor and a musical atmosphere to match: between the Latin madness of Habemus Banda and the infectious good humor of the Enfants du Boucher brass band, the quayside will be rocking!

Food trucks, a bar, creative workshops, photos with Saint Nicolas and a procession of lanterns will also enliven the festivities, before fireworks set the basin ablaze - and Las Baklavas ignite the public with their explosive Balkan pop. All aboard!
