  • Mural by Kogaone

ADN - Art Dans Nancy is an urban street art route that invites visitors to explore the streets and squares of Nancy while encouraging them to discover art. It includes over 30 street art works. From the old town to Place des Vosges, and from Place Simone Veil to Porte Sainte-Catherine, art, in its many forms, is everywhere and plays a regular part in everyday life.

Nancy City Council, the Société Lorraine d’Habitat and the association Le MUR have brought the city this new urban art mural by local artist Kogaone, on the building at #108, Boulevard Lobau. Kogaone’s work is inspired both by the works of the Masters and the human condition as enshrined in the codes of his time. He distorts everyday scenes, displaces or deforms fragments or even combines or contrasts photorealism with a more raw and expressionist form of painting. Kogaone plays with the notion of realism which he distends as far as abstraction.
