A wide range of professions and fields for sailors.
Every year, the French Navy recruits and trains more than 4,000 young men and women, aged 16 to 30, from 3e level to bac+5, in more than 80 professions and 15 areas of employment, including electrical and nuclear power, aeronautics, submarine forces, intelligence, cyber and digital, catering and naval operations, to name but a few. In the Grand Est region, the French Navy recruitment service is permanently present at the CIRFAs of Nancy, Épinal, Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Metz, Reims and Troyes.
