With its sights set on carbon neutrality by 2050, France is pursuing its decarbonization objective while developing the industrial sector from an ecological, technological and economic point of view. To achieve this difficult balance, decarbonized hydrogen, produced by electrolysis of water, is put forward as THE solution. But is this new energy really eco-responsible? What are the issues involved in its production and the challenges linked to its transportation and storage?
