Do we like to suffer? Does love drive us mad? In this play by Céline Champinot, we revisit Shakespeare's famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet. This love story is also the story of the suicide of two fourteen-year-old teenagers. On stage here, trapped in a small theater that resembles both a funeral home and an Elizabethan stage, two actresses and an actor recall their passionate youth: the bitter delights of their love triangle when, at the college drama club, Shakespeare's play tickled their fantasies, allowing them to act out their fears and emotions. Their old age is also projected, that of three inseparable lovers who never gave in on their desire.
