Tribute to Jean Lamour

ADN - Art Dans Nancy is an urban street art route that invites visitors to explore the streets and squares of Nancy while encouraging them to discover art. It includes over 30 street art works. From the old town to Place des Vosges, and from Place Simone Veil to Porte Sainte-Catherine, art, in its many forms, is everywhere and plays a regular part in everyday life.

Through his sense of architecture and understanding of history of art, François Morellet has poetically twisted the rules of geometry in this work, with a subtle touch of humour in the choice of title. Hommage à Lamour lights up every evening like a mirror, on the outside of the Fine Arts Museum in Place Stanislas. The museum houses modern and temporary collections amidst a fantastic ensemble from the Age of Enlightenment.
