Can we see sound? Can we hear a gesture? In the Baroque period, music and dance maintained such an intimate dialogue that they seemed to merge: every note called for movement, every step traced a melody.

Between rigor and expressivity, choreographic gesture becomes a visible score, while music sketches invisible forms in the air. Performed by the 22 musicians of Les Arts Florissants, under the musical direction of violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte, the Venetian concertos by Legrenzi, Uccellini, Lambranzi and Vivaldi will interact with a second part devoted entirely to Bach.

On stage, the 24 dancers of the CCN - Ballet de Lorraine will bring together music and choreography in a creation by their director Maud Le Pladec and guest artist Josépha Madoki, an emblematic figure of waacking in France.
