Concert - Battle cordes vs vents

For its first subscription concert, the Ensemble Stanislas presents a musical joust!

A battle of style, period and timbre, in other words, all notes are permitted! The audience will be invited to vote and decide between the string trio and the reed trio. Who will win? Beethoven or Mozart? Gideon Klein or Alexander Tansman? Between drama and smiles, between passion and memory .

-In the first round, L.Van Beethoven's String Trio No. 1 Op. 9 in G major, with its finesse, depth and intensity, will take on Divertimento No. 1 for reed trio K439b, with its breath, lightness and vivacity!

-For the second round, Gideon Klein's string trio will carry the strength of the creative act despite deportation during the Second World War, facing Alexander Tansman's reed trio, a bearer of hope and resilience. Let the match begin!
