Citizens, let's sing, let's sing!
An anthem brings people together, unites them and spans the ages. It is both intimate and collective, a bearer of history and emotion. With Hymnes, Franck Krawczyk, an American composer inspired by these melodies rooted in the common memory of humanity, imagines a living work, where transmission and sharing are at the heart of the music.

Supported by the Orchestra and the Maîtrise citoyenne itinérante de l'Opéra national de Nancy-Lorraine, this project gives voice to children from diverse backgrounds, brought together by singing. Through a series of writing workshops with playwright Chloé Kobuta, their personal stories mingle with Krawczyk's arrangements, creating echoes between past and present. Here, music becomes a link, a space where everyone can find their place.
From lullabies to great unifying songs, via famous hymns reinterpreted, this concert is a journey through the melodies that shape us. By revisiting these songs with sensitivity and inventiveness, Hymnes celebrates the power of the collective and the power of the voice, which, united with others, becomes breath, memory and hope.
Ages 6 and up.
Bookable from May 12, 2026.
