Concert - Le Nouveau Monde

Created in 2020, the New Art Orchestra (NAO) is a semi-professional, session-based symphony orchestra from Nancy, directed by Hugo Lutz . The orchestra is the result of a project by eight musician friends, keen to pursue instrumental practice while enriching the musical scene in Lorraine. Following its first project, "Histoire(s) au féminin", completed in 2022, the NAO continues its musical epic by producing one show a year, combining famous symphonic works and original compositions, chosen and composed around themes with an educational dimension.

In 2026, the NAO tackles the theme of the New World, combining contemporary music with a musical tale and a funk-symphonic work, and classical music with Antonin Dvorak's "New World" Symphony No. 9: a true crossroads of worlds, with a presentation of the works and musical themes by an actor.
