After the Art Nouveau-style Est Républicain, Pierre le Bourgeois, town planner and architect, covered the inter-war period with numerous projects, including the reconstruction of Longwy, the new Magasins Réunis building and the Lorraine pavilion for the 1937 International Exhibition. At the end of the Art Deco period, Roger Mienville and Robert Parisot designed an extension to Nancy's town hall, combining modernism and classicism, but this was not completed until the early 1960s. A model of Nancy's town hall with its 20th-century extension will complement photographs and other graphic documents.
