Nancy Jazz Pulsations 2025 - Ganavya - Salif Keïta

Nancy Jazz Pulsations returns from October 4 to 18, 2025, true to its DNA of celebration, encounters and artistic curiosity. This year, the festival slips into the graphic lines and vibrant colors of Art Deco, to mark the centenary of this emblematic artistic movement.

First performance:
Ganavya unveils Daughter of a Temple, their new album inspired by the musico-philosophies of Alice Coltrane. It blends spiritual jazz and South Asian devotional music. More than an album, it's a quest for a spiritual village, proof that prayer works and love exists.

Second performance:
Salif Keïta, "the golden voice of Africa", explores an intimate acoustic register with So Kono, a pared-down album where his powerful voice reveals itself as never before. Long reluctant to embark on such a project, he took the plunge in 2023 at the Kyotophonie festival in Japan, inspired by the spirituality of a Zen temple. Supported by Laurent Bizot (Nø Førmat!), he revisits his classics and unveils new compositions in minimalist arrangements, reaffirming his status as a living legend.
