From the Porte de la Craffe to the Place des Vosges, but also from the Place de la République to the Porte Sainte-Catherine, art is everywhere, in its many forms, embellishing our city. By following the ADN itinerary, you can admire the city's heritage in dialogue with contemporary art. It also means appreciating the talent of local, national and international artists who have left their mark on the city. Since 2015, the city of Nancy has been rolling out this route with commissions for new works (installations, frescoes, photo exhibitions...). To date, more than 40 works of art line the city, allowing you to take a playful yet demanding look at our urban environments.
The famous English portrait painter David Walker has created a monumental fresco (one of the largest he has painted in France), in which an explosion of color and layers of spray paint weave a richly feminine portrait, verging on hyperrealism. Giulia has become an emblematic work of Nancy's urban artistic landscape.
A project initiated by Galerie Mathgoth with the support of the City of Nancy and the CCAS.
