Visite Guidée - Patrimoine Industriel - Parcours Théâtre de la Manufacture

Testifying to a prosperous period from the 2nd half of the 19th century onwards, this tour will introduce you to an important page in the town's history, from the Manufacture to the banks of the canal.

The tour begins at the former tobacco factory, now a cultural center, and ends at a footbridge spanning the canal, once a key industrial area. The Art-nouveau residences along the way remind us of the close links between this artistic movement and industrialization. The Solvay Foundation, meanwhile, bears witness to a major industrial player in Nancy during the Belle Époque.
