Brabois Park
Brabois is one of France’s biggest parks, covering 55 hectares. It offers fantastic views across Nancy and the surrounding area.

Brabois is one of France’s biggest parks, covering 55 hectares. It offers fantastic views across Nancy and the surrounding area.
A former French-style hunting ground, it is the largest green space in the local area. It lies within the Henri Poincaré Technology Park, where it adds a genuine sense of freedom. Its geometrical lines draw the eye, encouraging visitors to step in and explore. Beautiful paths lined with beech trees lead to untamed meadows, orchards and broad clearings, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The park is the perfect place to walk, cycle or ride. Nancy Brabois riding centre lies adjacent to the park and a dedicated bridle path runs right around the perimeter. Stroll to the edge of the forest alongside the park for great views of the surrounding countryside, including Montet Château and Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Gardens. Close to the château, the romantic clearing with its riot of spring bulbs provides a more intimate setting.
In the southern part of the park, an experimental truffle plot has been created. On the eastern slope, ornamental plantations house a selection of the species prized by the Nancy school artists: boxwood, ginkgo, tulip poplars and larches. To the north, the meadow is dotted with pretty wooden cabins and has excellent views of Maxéville and Laxou.
