Lorraine's forests, with their silent majesty and verdant landscapes, are highly prized as places for relaxation and recreation. It also plays a role in the economy as a forestry production tool. Its subsoil, rich in iron ore, has been mined, shaping the landscape and human activity. Traces of the First and Second World Wars remain engraved in the soil, testifying to the intensity of the fighting that took place there. Today, the Lorraine forest is also a haven of biodiversity, where beech and oak trees stand side by side with a wealth of flora and fauna.

Through the photographs of Teddy and Didier Bracard, this exhibition plunges you into the intimacy of this unspoilt nature, highlighting the animals that, far from view, populate this fascinating and complex territory. These images reveal a world that is often invisible, but of striking beauty, inviting everyone to rediscover the Lorraine forest in a new light.
