In 19th-century England, Mary is a young girl with a passion for fossils, which she and her father search for on the beach, then sell to tourists. The father's sudden death throws the family into disarray: without a financial source, they'll soon have to leave their home, and worse still, for Mary, her beloved fossil beach.
But before he died, his father left him a mysterious message that could lead him to change many things...
