"In Nancy, Art Nouveau and Art Deco don't clash, they respond to each other. The city is an ideal place to observe the transition between these two aesthetics, from decor inspired by nature to more sober, geometric lines. Addressing these movements together highlights artistic and historical continuity, while also questioning the cultural, technical and social changes that marked the early 20th century. This evening offers an immersion into the heart of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, two major movements that profoundly marked the artistic identity of Nancy and the surrounding region. Conceived as a moment of discovery and conviviality, the event invites everyone to explore these emblematic movements in a warm, participatory atmosphere."
