Over and above their demolition at the turn of the 20th century, a whole page in the history of a district of the Ville-Vieille is turned, and a new one is written, prefiguring the urban Nancy of today.
As a preamble, the documentary presents a section dedicated to the millenary and eventful history of Nancy's fortifications.
