During the inter-war years, Nancy's artistic scene underwent a period of renewal after the golden age of Art Nouveau. A new generation of artists and craftsmen made their mark, breathing new life into emblematic houses such as Daum and Majorelle. The 1920s-1930s also saw the emergence of promising talents such as ironworker Jean Prouvé, sculptor Émie-Just Bachelet and jeweler Gaston Hay, all of whom contributed to the region's creative renaissance. A lecture by Alexandre Miot, organized by Cercle du Travail.
