NJP 2025 - Third Stream - Emile Parisien Quartet

Nancy Jazz Pulsations returns from October 4 to 18, 2025, true to its DNA of celebration, encounters and artistic curiosity. This year, the festival slips into the graphic lines and vibrant colors of Art Deco, to mark the centenary of this emblematic artistic movement.

Third Stream: From the very first notes, the complicity between Valérie and Pierre transports the audience into a jazz universe that is both sensitive and elegant. Their duo, where improvisation meets emotion, reinterprets standards and contemporary compositions on the theme of love. Valérie's voice, combined with Pierre's classical training, offers a musical journey tinged with poetry and romance.

For the past 20 years, Émile Parisien Quartet has been fusing acoustic and electronic music with striking musicality. Between dramatic tension, virtuoso flights of fancy and a touch of mischievous irony, the group sculpts ever-changing soundscapes. With Let Them Cook, they once again push back the boundaries of jazz, affirming their identity while exploring new horizons.
