Frédéric, Alexandre's father and a musician, wanted to create this unique orchestra at the Marseille Conservatoire, so that his son and other deaf children could have access to music. The Orchestre des Colibris was thus born, with the help of hearing children, young people speaking sign language and professional musicians. With the help of Malvina, a pianist who is half-deaf and a gifted teacher, the musicians work together to develop deaf music.
