Quai Choiseul was dug in 1863. The construction of this house dates from the same period.

The glass panels by the painter and glassmaker Antoine Bertin date from 1900. This series of leaded windows featuring simple glass and acid-etched glass with motifs of lilies, nasturtium, clematis, tulips and irises, in hues of purple, blue and yellow, is considered as a seminal work for the Nancy School’s art of stained glass.
The house is open for visits all year round on appointment (guided 30-minute tour).
