Excellence and savoir‑faire

Around the famous 18th century Place Stanislas where the Tourist Office stands, a showcase for the luxury and elegance of the sumptuous products crafted in Lorraine can be found, with the boutiques of Daum (Place Stanislas), Baccarat (opposite the Tourist Office) and Emaux de Longwy (Rue Gambetta).

High-quality know-how

It’s also worth taking a visit to the Daum factory store in the aptly named Quartier des Cristalleries.

Rue des Dominicains and Rue Gambettta specialise in clothing and footwear with some very fine stores and also have excellent patisserie and confectionery shops. Rue des Ponts, Rue des Maréchaux, Rue de la Primatiale and Rue de la Faïencerie are good spots if you are looking for restaurants, from chic eateries to trendy fast food joints.

Wherever you go, you’ll receive a traditional ‘Lorrain’ welcome, in other words, discreet, efficient… and very pleasant.
